Jacobson & Associates, LLC Healthcare Consulting (J&A) was formed in 1994 by Michael Jacobson, who was the former Director of Financial and Regulatory Consulting Services for a Big Five accounting firm. Since our inception, J&A has been providing financial and reimbursement consulting services to healthcare providers throughout the country.
J&A has offices throughout the United States including Florida, Illinois, Missouri and New Mexico. We have provided services to a wide array of provider settings including community hospitals, multi-campus hospitals and health systems, children’s hospitals, university and teaching hospitals, university and teaching physician practices, skilled nursing facilities, home health providers, hospice providers, clinic and ambulatory surgery centers and PPS exempt rehabilitation and psychiatric facilities and units.

Our Medicare DSH practice is one of the pre-eminent DSH practices in the nation. Our comprehensive approach, which combines an electronic component with a detailed manual reconciliation and analysis, has provided significantly increased cash flow to our clients, ranging from $100,000 to over $3,000,000 per year.
